The first GEDA Talk was held on the 5th of June at the Auditorium and was well attended. The initial presentation was based on “The Recession” and its impact on local and international markets.
The event was a great success and things fell in place with the first calls to the identified speakers. The guest speakers were accessible and willing to share their knowledge and insights with GEDA staff and stakeholders (as well as officials from the Premier’s and MEC’s offices). The presentations were informative and interesting –resulting in a lively Q and A session. The general impression from all who attended the event, was that it was interesting and look forward to these GEDA Talks in future.
